My first time at a Chipotle. I'd go back to one, but not this location. In short, the burrito tasted good but was poorly constructed. The service was awful. The lady who made my burrito was rude and carried an attitude that she didn't give a damn about my order. As she was making it she would ask for my toppings choices and immediately turn to her collegeaue to resume a long conversation. When I'd reply she'd shoot me a dirty look as if I was interuppting their important conversation. It was as if her aim was to make me feel as least welcomed as possible. Mission accomplished, I will not be back.

Every time I eat here, the chicken and steak are downright sexy. They generate a perfect harmony in my mouth region. The workers are always happy and super nice too.

I've been going to so many chipotles that it'd be a full time job if I had to comment on every one I've been too. That being said, the reason why I had to comment on this one was because I left with a huge smile on my face. When I got into the place, there was a decent line forming so I just waited in line while reading some articles on my phone. It took a while but eventually I got to the front. Then a lady asked me what I wanted. She didn't look thrilled because she was running the whole line by herself. That means pressing the buritto skin, putting the rice, beans, and meat in, adding salsa, cheese, etc. And the most impressive part was that she was handling me and three other people's orders. I was just watching her and waiting for her to mess up but that didn't happen. But the reason I decided to comment on this place (or her) isn't mainly because I was impressed with her multitasking skills (even though I was). It was because SHE HOOKED IT UP! She loaded my burrito with so many beans, meat, salsa, etc. that I was thinking "Oh DAMN". But I was worried that she wouldn't be able to contain it in the wrap and that it was gonna explode in the process. And then to my surprise, POOF, it's wrapped. And it was so big that the foil couldn't even fully wrap around the burrito (and I'm a hungry guy so this was literally food porn for me). Don't forget, she pulled this off while taking care of three other orders (and making sure the cashier knew which was for what cuz he almost gave me someone else's mini quesadilla). When I ate the burrito, it didn't fall apart or anything! And the end of the burrito wasn't as messy as it usually is for burritos of a regular size. As you can probably tell, I was pretty satisfied with her burrito work. I was so impressed I even wanted to tip her (but there was a line out to the door so I would've felt awkward just trying to get her attention). I just gotta say that every person at chipotle should make awesome burritoes like this burrito babe with the braided bun.

Fairly nasty place. Always dirty. Staff working the assembly line don't really seems to care a whole lot about icy of anything. The food is okay, so I'll give it 2 stars.

I was in the recently to eat lunch and the place was disgusting!! There was food all over the tables on the floors EVERY trash can in the place was over flowing with trash..by the beverage area there was barely any knife and forks the tables weren't wiped down and sticky with soda..I've came to this chipotle often since I live close and it just slowly turned into a disgrace so I stopped going and would recommend driving the couple extra minutes to go to qdoba

This place sucks!!!, i will not go here again. The workers there, in my opinion needs some more training. I got a salad bowl and had to ask them for more meat and beans. they were so skimpy with the servings. I much prefer the one in the food court in the mall. whenever I want chipotle I race to the one in the food court before they close, don't know why people put up with the terrible service at this one, gust the food is worth it, no matter how little they give you.

King of Prussia has been going through plenty of rebuilding in the past five years. There's now a casino, the biggest Target I've ever seen, and the King of Prussia Mall will become the largest mall in the country for a short period. All of that expansion would not be complete without a Chipotle. Everyone knows that having a Chipotle in your town is how you know you've made it. Well King of Prussia, the hundreds of millions of dollars was well spent. You've made it, Chipotle is here! I was so excited when I read the news about Chipotle opening that I became determined to become their first customer. So as you might have expected, I camped out front for a few days until the King of Prussia police caught wind of my mission. I mean, if you don't want people camping somewhere, you should put up some "No Camping" signs -- really. The exterior is slate grey to help keep up the industrial burrito feel we all love. As expected, the menu board contains no pictures of their menu items -- so use your imagination people! Or just look at people while they're eating, they won't mind. There's mostly bar type seating that can easily accommodate someone dining solo or in a group. The back contains a unique three-piece table with 17 seats. The area where you order isn't too close to the entrance, which is smart so when the line is long, it doesn't leave people waiting outside. There's five small tables outside with umbrellas. My one major concern is the parking. Chipotle shares this small shopping area with two other retailers and they need to share about 40 parking spaces. It's also in a weird corner where you could only make right turns into the parking lot from either Allendale Road or 202. Luckily, there's a parking area in the mall complex on Allendale Road that no one uses. From there, it's a two minute walk to Chipotle. You could also park on the ground floor of the mall's parking garage, but then you would have to run up a huge hill. Sure, that seems fun when you and the crazy dudes from accounting can't wait to get lunch. But keep in mind that after you're done eating that two-pound burrito and the food coma sets in, you'll then need to run (roll) down the hill into traffic ...not that I know from experience. Enjoy! Try the burrito bowls.

By far the best service and preparation in this area for this company. Everything was put together in a timely and professional manner. I had 6 tacos(hard) 3 chicken and 3 steak... All done perfectly. I was shocked at the difference between this location and Ardmore?? This should be the role model store for some of the others to come and get trained again. If ur in kop it's fairly new and on the main road right on the outside of the main lot.

Holy crap this by far the slowest chipotle I've ever been to. My wife and I have ordered tacos on a few occasions and everytime they over stuff them and you have to use a fork. If I wanted to do that I'd order a bowl

The service was very slow. My burrito wasn't wrapped well. The rice was alittle hard. Overall, it wasn't the greatest experience.

Love love this company and the food but would prefer to drive 20 min out of my way to go to the Chipotle in Plymouth Meeting because it is run so much better!! The Chipotle in KOP consistently screws up my order or has difficulty even taking the order and making the food. The workers either aren't trained well or aren't too bright. I called to place a takeout order and after I was placed on hold for 5 min and transferred to two different people was told they are not allowed to take phone orders (AFTER I told the lady what I would like to order)??!! I then tried to place an order online but there was no way to order a kids meal!! Entirely too much frustration and effort to get my Chipotle fix!!

This place is getting a 3 star because of the parking. There is just not enough parking. And there is another business coming up and probably you have to fight for parking on a busy day. I would rather go to the chipotle at the mall food court.

  • R O.

Always a terrible experience, I keep going back hoping it will get better but it hasn't yet. It's dirty, tables are never wiped down, constant problems with the fountain drink machine, ice dispenser, and iced tea is empty consistently. And that's all after waiting in line for 20 minutes+ on slow weekday nights.

Visited this location for the first time yesterday around 7:30 pm. Parking lot is definitely weird & hard to maneuver. Place was fairly busy. Line moved quickly. Staff was super fun & helpful. Offered me samples. Burrito bowl with carnitas was awesome. Chips were slightly too salty but salsa (medium) was great. I can't wait to return!

Worst Chipotle experience.. Mostly due to the fact that there isn't much talent working at this location. It was 3pm and there was a line and at least six people working and one girl told me "we be right witchu." Um no.. Get off your phone and serve me food. You know.. Your job? So this fellow decided to serve me (and I think he was on "one") and after he prepared my burrito bowl he whispered something to me? I could not understand what he said for the life of me and had to have him repeat himself literally seven times until I finally realized he asked me what meat I got. Uh sir. You just made my burrito bowl five seconds ago and you already forgot what meat I asked for? The bowl is right in front of you?So I finally got to the cashier and asked for an Izze soda and then she asks if I want something to drink. I JUST TOLD YOU. It's small things but the incompetence adds up. Not only did I lose brain cells but my bowl tasted like crap.. Mostly because my guac I paid an extra $2.05 for was completely brown. Pass.

There is a shortage of parking here and the service is pretty slow for a Chipotle. Most Chipotles have a line going around the inside of the place and it's no big deal because you know you're going to get through it in about 5 minutes. I had 4 people in front of me when I walked in and it took me 9. The lack of parking limits volume, which doesn't press this place to increase their efficiency. Sadly, this leads to cold food, as mine was lukewarm when I finally made it through. And it's not the employees fault, they're hustling, it's a layout problem. While I was there, the line stopped twice for dressing. The person next to the cashier had to stop what she was doing to call for dressing, which was beyond the other end of the line. This caused the first guy (the one who grabs your bowl or tortilla) to stop what he was doing, go get a dressing and get it down to her. Then it stopped again for the second order that wanted dressing. The result of inefficient layout was that meals weren't getting to the cashier in a timely manner, causing a backup in the flow of people through the line. Two people had to stop what they were doing to get dressing, slowing down the line. And rather than establishing a flow, each disruption caused a ripple effect through the process. Position the materials that each person is responsible for within arm's reach of that person. That is manufacturing 101. Unless this problem is fixed, this Chipotle will not do the volume that it's capable of. Every seat in that place should be packed during lunch. They weren't and the cause is throughput. And parking.

Good food and service. Only thing that bothered me was how close you sit to the cars driving by on 202. Kinda scary because you could be eating and then the next minute be dead.

Chipotle is one of the few restaurants that i have lunch regularly at. I eat at chipotles Atlwast 3-4 times a week during the weekdays. Since I was in the area for lunch, I thought what better could it be than chipotle. Service: I always had high regards for chipotle employees and their service. Not that the employees here were rude or anything, but looks like they just don't care. The service was slow and as I type, I see a line all the way to the door. (No, it's not because of the demand but because of the sleep service. Just to give an example - if at other chipotles it takes around 4 mins to complete my order and pay and leave, it took close to 8-9 mins for the whole process). State of the food: I have to admit, the food is gross. How can anyone mess up a chipotle order . It's the same all across the country I suppose. I am attaching a pic with my review and u can see that the chicken is burnt. Not one, not two pieces of chicken, but all of them. Everytime I take a bite, I am able feel that charcoal taste. True, believe me. That's why I stopped eating and started writing this review. The brown rice is cold and tasteless. It's just brown rice boiled in water. I usually put fajitas in my order, but since they had like two peppers and onions in that container, I didn't bother to add them to the order. That's pretty much, those 3 important items which they have to cook, they managed to mess it up. The restaurant: Its dirty. It's been close to 30 minutes I've been here and although all the tables are dirty, I didn't see one of their employees come out and clean the tables. I saw a few customers including me, cleaning our own tables with napkins. Overall - not a good place to call themselves a franchise of chipotle. Will I come back here again. No. I don't think so. I would go to many other restaurants that are around this place. The two stars I gave is because I was able to eat somehing for lunch and be done with. Nothing special here. Thank you

Don't waste your time reading the essays below about people rating every single little detail and nuance about this location. It's a Chipotle! It's exactly like every other Chipotle (or Qdoba) you've ever been to: good, fresh food for okay prices with staff that is making minimum wage (and, thus, don't really care about you or your order). They're perfectly friendly, and I've never had an issue, but for under $10/hour, don't expect them to be too enthusiastic about making sure your burrito bowl looks like a work of art. Review in 3 words: it's totally fine.

Freshly grilled and quickly constructed food in King of Prussia next to the Mall ... without having to go INTO the Mall? I couldn't have dreamed of a better option than this Chipotle! Yes, parking is limited. Or else there would be too many people in line inside. Yes. It can be hard for volume restaurants to retain staff in this immediate area. But, Chipotle does a real good job of that here. If this doesn't sound quite right to you, search for nearby burrito alternatives in and around the Mall. Give those places a try and then get back to us here on Yelp and let us know.

Having just opened this place definitely has room for improvement. The employees need to fine tune their skills in all areas. I got a few tacos and the guy broke them all and had to start over. Take it easy dude! Plus all my ingredients fell out when I took them out of their foil. Oh and they were soggy. In addition to their manhandling of the food there's also the register confusion. How do I ring a gift card? Where is the side of guac? Why isn't this ringing up right? Then it takes a few employees to figure it out. The line was crazy long yesterday and I was starving...and cranky. I'm sure they'll work out the kinks and have things running smoothly in due time. I just hope it's soon bc I do love me some carnitas!

The best off menu Quesarito ever. Fast service and staff is friendly. Also glad for ordering through the app. Which makes life so much easier when you're to busy to wait in line at lunch time.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
